The Silver Crescent School of Magick and Occult Studies
The Silver Crescent School of Magick and Occult Studies teaches the history of magick and the occult, as well as various practices and uses of magickal and mystical energy. Studies are broken into several various courses, allowing the Student to focus on certain areas of training to allow full comprehension and mastery. Courses are taught by adept practitioners of the Craft.
Students will receive upon completion of a course a Degree of Mastery. Students who complete the online School will be offered advanced courses of Mastery and Study. Students attending the School in Allegan will have the option of Advance study online as well.
All courses are offered through online study or through the School's Allegan, MI location. Course information is emailed to students who enroll online, and practical Course supplies will be shipped via UPS to students. Students attending the School in Allegan shall receive all items required upon the class date.
Students wishing for full enrollment will receive a 25% discount and free enrollment into the Silver Crescent School for Psychic Development, to be launched Fall 2010.

Requirements for Enrollment
Students wishing to train through the Silver Crescent School of Magick and Occult Studies must meet the following requirements:
- At least 18 years of age and of a sound mind and maturity level. This is to protect all involved and guarantee the best experience for all.
- Students wishing to enroll who are under the age of 18 will be limited as to course availability, and MUST meet with the School Coordinators in person, with both parents present. The consent of both parents is required for a minor to enroll.
- Students will be notified in advance of class scheduling and must make plans to attend. Classes are not delayed nor rescheduled except due to severe weather or absence of the Professor.
- Students displaying inappropriate behavior or misuse of School Teachings will be asked not to return, therefor forfeiting future training and will not be eligible for a refund of School Tuition.
- Course fees are minimal, ranging from $5.00 per theory course to $15.00 for a practical course, with which a student receives items to take home with them to further study and practice. Students studying online and enrolling in multiple courses must submit all course fees prior to start of term. Students attending the School may pay prior to each class or pay in full for a 10% discount. Any class items for a practical course will be mailed to online students prior to the course date.

History of Magick
This Course focuses on the History of Magick, and the various ways it has been practiced throughout history. From the Ancient Egyptians to the Modern Day New Age Movement, students shall see how magick has grown from a primitive force into the energy work used today.This course will look at magick in a none religious setting or biased view, covering all aspects of magick as a practice in ancient and modern society.
History of the Occult
Students will learn the various ways that Occult practices and aspects have influenced societies and groups throughout history. The History of the Occult will cover areas pertaining to the darker aspects and practices in societies connected to the Mystic Arts, including groups and traditions, as well as some historical figures.
History of Wicca and Witchcraft
This Course will teach students solely about the Wiccan and Witchcraft histories. From the Olde Religion practices in the earlier centuries to the modern Wiccan practices of today. Topics covered will include the Salem Witch Trials, the Inquisition, the Burning Times as well as Wiccan practices, such as the evolution of practices, the Wheel of the Year and traditions in the Wiccan faith.
Magickal Creatures of Lore
This Course covers the magickal creatures of myth and legend and how they show up throughout various societies and areas of the globes. Dragons, Sasquatch, Gnomes and more will be discussed, as to their origins and evolution throughout history. Fairytale creatures and characters will also be discussed and examined as to whether or not their existence was merely in the minds of storytellers or inspired by real life.
Faeries, Devas and Elementals
Students will learn about the history and evolution surrounding Faere Folke; including Faeries, Devas and Elementals. The distinction shall be made about Faeries and Spirits of Nature, or Devas, and the Elementals; immensely powerful beings and creatures attributed to an aspect of Nature, Earth, Air, Fire or Water. Students will learn about the different aspects of various Faere Folke and how to honor and work with them.
Daemons and Subversive Spirits
This Course focuses on the less than attractive Spirits and Forces that inhabit this plane and those beyond with a malevolent nature. Vampires of Psychic and Astral form, as well as Daemons, ranging from the Seven Sins to the Devils of Christian faith, will be explored as to their history and creations myths, as well as how lore and beliefs around the globe connect these creatures together.
Magickal Herbs and Plants
Students will learn about herbs and plants used in magickal traditions and their properties. Focus will be mainly on the properties and use of the plant in external form, as well as how to grow and care for many in a domestic setting, and how to recognize certain plants in the wild.
Potion Making
The use of potions and tinctures have long been a part of an Apothecarie's arsenal. Students will learn how to formulate and create potions and tinctures for energy and magickal work. Focus will pertain to external uses and creation of Potions and Tinctures in a safe manner.
Incense, Oils and Brews
Students shall learn how to formulate and create Incense and Oil blends for magickal and meditation uses. Students shall also learn how to create brews and teas that can be used internally to raise vibrational levels and energy for spell work and meditations.
Spell Formulation
This course will teach students how to formulate and create spells and rituals for magickal energy work. Students will learn about Magickal Timing; including Planetary Correspondences, Days of the Week, Planetary Hours, as well as tools and SpellAides to increase the potency and effectiveness of a spell.
Magickal Correspondences
This course will teach students about the ancient and modern correspondences and tools used in spell work and rituals. Students will learn about tools used in ritual magick and spells of modern traditions of Wicca and Witchcraft as well as in ancient societies of Egypt and Europe.
Stones and Crystals
This course focuses on teaching students the mystical uses of various stones and crystals. Students will learn over 50 different stones and their various properties, as well as ways to recognize them. Students will learn how to cleanse and charge stones and crystals for protection and healing, as well as grounding and empowerment.
Ceremonial and Ritual Practices
This course focuses on the traditional and new age ceremonies and rituals employed by occultists and magick practitioners. Students will learn the various components that make up a basic ritual structure, as well as how to fashion and perform their own ritual or ceremony. Topics covered will be Quarters, Circle Casting, Watchtowers, Guardians, Altars and Tools, and more.
Famous Witches and Occultists
Students will discuss and review famous witches and occult practitioners throughout history. These are people who are responsible for magickal breakthroughs and for forming traditions. Also, practitioners who are renowned in their field of practice.
Cults and Sects, Covens and Circles
Students will discuss and review various cults, sects, covens and circles of practice throughout the world and in history. Students will also learn the difference between these four categories of groups. Students will also learn the basic structure and formation of these groups and how to recognize the positive groups from the negative.
Charms and Amulets
This is a hands on course which teaches students how to make and charge amulets, charms and talismans. Various practices and techniques will be covered including jewelry amulets, spell bags, gris-gris, charm symbols and the Dutch Hex signs.
Meditations and Exercises
Students will learn various meditations and exercises to utilize and raise energy during works. Students will also learn various yoga, tai-chi, reiki and energy manipulation movements and positions.
Magickal Healing and Energy Work
Students will learn the basics of healing and working with energy remove and heal astral blockages. Students will learn how to sense and manipulate energy fields, as well as focusing on healing physical ailments and emotional distresses through energy manipulation, aromatherapy and reflexology.
Light Magick- Working With the Solar Energies
Students will learn the areas of magick ruled by the Solar Energy of the Sun. Students will learn various rituals and practices to connect to the Solar Energy and direct it through themselves to power their works, including the Drawing Down the Sun ritual and the God Invocation.
*Light Magick refers to energy of creation and empowerment through the Sun.
Dark Magick- Working With the Lunar Energies
Students will learn the areas of magick ruled by the Lunar Energy of the Moon. Students will learn various rituals and practices to connect to the Lunar Energy and direct it through themselves to power their works, including the Drawing Down the Moon ritual and the Goddess Invocation.
*Dark Magick refers to the energy of destruction and banishing, and empowerment through the Moon.
Gods and Goddesses
Students will research and discuss various pantheons, from Egyptian and Greek, to Roman and Celtic, as well as various others. Students will learn about various Gods, Goddesses, Demi-Gods and Demi-Goddesses, and what areas of the magickal realm they govern. Students will learn more of the religious aspect of the magickal practices in this courses, pertaining to the Gods and Goddesses.
